Mediation is a confidential process, meaning that discussions that take place during the session are not shared outside of mediation, with limited exceptions as required by law. This allows each party to speak openly and focus on resolution.
Mediation typically involves individuals directly related in the dispute. Parties may choose to have an attorney present or available during the session. Additional participants may be permitted when appropriate, but must be approved in advance to ensure a structured and effective mediation environment.
The mediation practice is designed to remain neutral imbalance. If any potential conflict of interest arises that could impact neutrality, it will be disclosed and addressed as appropriate.
